Preferovanou variantou financování podnikatelského záměru je vstup investora formou konvertibilní půjčky (úvěru, dluhopisu) s úročením 8 % p.a. Tato varianta má řadu výhod.

• Odpadá nutnost dohody na ocenění společnosti.
• Investor se stane společníkem až ve chvíli, kdy projekt validuje jiný velký investor. Do té doby figuruje jako věřitel, který má vyšší ochranu před riziky investice.
• Není nutné měnit zakladatelské dokumenty společnosti.
• Společnost bude více flexibilní získat velkého investora v budoucnu.		Translation - English
Our preferred model of financing the enterprise is via convertible debt (notes) with an 8% annual interest rate. This has multiple advantages:
• The company’s valuation does not need to be negotiated at this stage yet.
• Investors become partners only after the project has been validated by another large investor joining the enterprise. Until then, they are listed as creditors and the risk they are taking is substantially reduced.
• Founding documents do not need to be updated.
• It gives the company more flexibility in attracting a large investor in the future.

"I care about getting it right"

I am equally at home in financial/business/marketing area as I am in poetry/literature or science/philosophy. The only thing with regards to translation I care about is getting it right - some texts call for meticulous accuracy and painstaking research, some require a creative approach and some need a bit (or a lot) of both.

I have translated:

  • marketing texts, business plans, presentations and internal documents for major corporations as well as small businesses in tech, sports and food industry;
  • science/philosophy/finance books (Incerto series by Nassim Nicholas Taleb)  https://www.goodreads.com/author/show/7190915.Jan_Ho_nek;
  • essays and articles for Czech magazines and newspapers.

 I also like combining my interest in language/translation with love for music/poetry, translating song lyrics and poetry on occasion. 

I enjoy the research-oriented part of translator's job as well the linguistic side of things.
