Italian to English Tech/Engineering Engineering: Industrial Wine bottle filling machi

This is an instruction in the user manual of a wine filling machine. It comes under the section for setting up the machine (my weakest area here). Context reads:

"Il riempimento si effettua immettendo il liquido che deve essere imbottigliato, con imbuto o a gravita direttamente nel tubo di aspirazione pos48. Riempire completamente il corpo pompa fino a vedere il liquido fuoriuscire dal rubinetto regolatore di portata 32."

My intuition tells me this is sort of regulating tap for dispensing liquids, but I do not know what the best term would be to use even if this is the correct idea.
