Finnish term

tiputussuppilo

Finnish to English Medical Medical: Pharmaceuticals
Actually, it isn't so much the term per se as the whole sentence in which this word is embedded.

2,2 M n-butyylilitiumia (heksaanissa) lisätään tipoittain 92 ml:ann di-isopropyyliamiinia 300 ml:ssa THF:ää -50 - -60 oC:ssa 1000 ml:n yksikaulaisessa pullossa tiputussuppilon kautta ja typpiatmosfäärissä.

THF is BTW Tetrahydrofuran, or so I believe.

Too much going on here, I can't seem to figure out what n-butyllithium (in hexane) is being added by drops to exactly, there being several items in that flask apparently.

#1 Correction: 92 ml:aan. Is that the inessive. One parser gave it as partitive possessive 3?

dropping funnel

or drop funnel or tap funnel

There is 92 ml of diisopropyl amine dissolved in 300 ml of THF in the one-necked flask (volume of the flask 1000 ml). The 2.2 M solution of n-butyllithium in hexane is added dropwise to the amine solution via dropping funnel at the mentioned temperature under nitrogen atmosphere. The total volume of added n-butyllithium is not specified.

ml:aan (millilitraan) is illative, inessive would be ml:ssa (millilitrassa)
