| Если речь идет о животном, то pet. Мы же не переводим дословно, мы переводим идиому на идиому. Для "любимца"-человека можно искать варианты типа sweetheart. Но животное - это pet. Причем, скорее мы на русском перенесем "пет" на человека, которого не любим (если это олбанский), чем англы используют наш руссифицированный вариант. |
