个人理解：
一念之差---- 往往用于贬义，如天堂和地狱在我们心中只有一步之差，也只有一念之差---- 进了地狱，便用‘一念之差’来形容，相反进了天堂，就用褒义‘一念之间’吧？

I visualize this “一念之間” is an instantaneous perception of a good performance by the management.
It happened so fast, there is no time for an explicit decision making, but rather it’s an implicit recognition – a gut feeling if you will.
I suggest let’s call this “一念之間” – “instant recognition” of the management.
