FYI - simply CHEF is fine!
In my Chinese dictionary, both ‘Chef’ and ‘Cook’ have the same meaning.
However, in the Encarta dictionary, Chef = professional cook; in particularly the principal cook in a hotel or restaurant.
So simply ‘Chef’ is right on the money to sufficiently match your question.
CHEF! (executive or principal implied), unless you need to classify a particular chef from a group of these professionals.
Sous chef ? what’s that?!
Pastry chef ~ there is no indication in your given context for the ‘pastry’ nature….
If you must further emphasize the excellence of the ‘Chef’ – try ‘Gourmet Chef’
But really even ‘Gourmet Chef’ is over working the words; simply ‘CHEF’ is fine!

: A cook is anyone who happens to be doing the cooking, but could also be a professional in a low-end restaurant. Whereas a chef is a highly skilled professional working in a fancy restaurant. You should never call a chef a cook.
