服务处所

This 服务处所 appears in a 常住人口登记卡. Can someone explain to me what is a 服务处所?

Is it the work address??? Here's what I found on the internet: 外国人于居留期间内,变更居留住址或服务处所时,应办理变更登记。

Service Location

Let me explain in my bad English.
服务处所 is where one provides his/her service(s) at.
So, it must be the company or institution at which he/she works.

Of course, the address.

That\'s why it is called 处所.

But, in this context \"外国人于居留期间内,变更居留住址或服务处所时,应办理变更登记。,\" it becomes the company/institution/employer.
