Yes, as you know, 厘 is the correct character for the weight measurement, but I don't think it appears in the link I provided for the conversion calculator. I converted first to grams, then to carats.

You may disagree in this instance, but in the United States(and probably other countries of the world), a carat is often used to measure gold in jewelry. In this case, the jewelry is earrings.
