could you please confirm me if my take on this sentence is correct? An helicopter in a cartoon has to make an emergency landing. In the control tower someone says:
早急にランデブーポイントの確保と通達を
(Let's reserve and notify the rendez-vous point immediately.)
Does 早急 here means they want to "secure" the priority on the landing point so that no other plane/helicopter uses it?

早急 part only means soon, quickly, right away, immediately as you have it. "Secure" is covered by 確保, also as you understood it correctly.
