Source text - Japanese In today’s fast changing world, the quickest method to place yourself ahead of the crowd is to lead by example. Many corporations are leaders in their respective fields, but the true pioneers set the tone and pace others attempt to duplicate. The leading edge players are the ones everyone else attempts to copy and put their own stamp on their efforts, in order to gain a meager advantage before the rest of the world passes them by. What makes a product desired in a way that consumers will demand a larger supply and pay for it? The cool factor. Not only must it have features other products lack, it must also look good, outshine the competition and set a new standard. The Apple iPhone is a perfect example of a product that revolutionized the personal and consumer phone industry. Then came the iPad, setting the stage for laptops to innovate or die. The Apple Watch is another product that commanded attention. What will follow? What product will generate the desire for the masses to purchase and adopt as the new shiny object everyone must have? The field is wide open.
