Bio

I grew up in Hong Kong and understand the cultural contexts in Western and Chinese languages. Since graduating from university, I embarked on an exciting career at a major local press, where I pursued stories and translated news sources from all around the world.

From the experience, not only did I gain much insight into international politics and social issues, but I also transformed into a translator who values accuracy and clarity while catching readers' attention at the same time. I am specifically proud of my reports on the 100th anniversaries of WWI and WWI.

In 2019, I steered into the new world of independent translation. I have helped clients with medical, legal, business, website and UI content, marketing materials, and academic papers. I am also an art lover and have basic knowledge of art history. I am eager to make use of my experience to explore new opportunities.
