I am a French native speaker with a a bachelor's degree in English with Spanish and Economics. Ever since I started training in translation, back in my bachelor's degree years, I have never stopped translating, mostly for work reasons.

I also have a strong insight in both English and Spanish cultures. I have lived for four years in the UK. During those years, I obtained a PostGraduate Certificate in Education from Oxford Brookes University and worked as a French and Spanish teacher in a secondary school.

I have now been living in Spain for 20 years, of which I have spent 16 years working in a bank service centre. I have worked in several departments (customer service, chargeback, fraud,...) and held various management responsabilities. For more details, I can always provide a more detailed CV. 

I have been working as a freelance translator
for 3 years and have experience in translation, transcreation and post-edition
of texts related to food industry and tourism as well as marketing texts. 

My passions in life have always been gastronomy
and learning. That prompted me to follow several courses on: culinary
translation, translation of tourism-related texts, subtitling, web page
translation and SEO (Localisation). One of my favourite projects has been, so
far, the translation of a culinary and biographical book from Spanish into
French.

Like anyone else, I have interests and hobbies such as
travelling, reading, history and art. I also enjoy writing and handled a few
copywriting projects.
