Bio
I grew up in an ancient city near Rome. I started
travelling abroad to learn English, French and German when I was only 12.
I attended a secondary school specializing in humanities, where I had the opportunity to study Latin and ancient Greek, at the same time strengthening my own mother tongue, Italian.
These were the right tools to start my translation studies at the School of Translation and Interpreting in Perugia, Italy.
My career started in the export
industry and it has evolved in continuing translation and business interpreting
tasks, both in-house and as a freelance.
I specialize in translating marketing and technical texts for the horticultural industry.
I have a wide experience in other sectors such as social sciences (academics), press articles, legal and corporate documents, automotive and agrochemical industry.
I provide editing and proofreading services too.
I have a passion for botany, history and social
sciences.
I love my hometown, Cori (Latium), which offers plenty of archaeological treasures
and where people speak a dialect very close to Latin - and which I’m obviously
able to understand and to speak. And I’m very proud of that!
