Now in its tenth year, CIVITAS - Cleaner and better transport in cities has supported cities all over Europe introduce ambitious transport measures and policies towards sustainable urban mobility.
Co-funded by the European Union, 64 cities participate in the Initiative to test and evaluate clean urban transport solutions in real conditions. Building on a mix of innovation, policy support, public involvement, and applying integrated strategies, CIVITAS cities use winning combinations of activities to solve local challenges.
With this mix of innovative approaches and technological applications, CIVITAS contributes to the achievement of the ambitious targets set out in Europe 2020 – the EU’s strategy for the coming decade to achieve smart, sustainable and inclusive economic growth.

Ahora en su décimo año, CIVITAS (Transporte urbano mejor y más limpio) ha ayudado a ciudades de toda Europa a introducir medidas y políticas de transporte ambiciosas en pro de una movilidad urbana sostenible.
64 ciudades participan en esta iniciativa cofinanciada por la Unión Europea, a través de la cual se prueban y evalúan soluciones de transporte urbano en condiciones reales. Las ciudades CIVITAS aplican con éxito diversas actividades combinadas que ayudan a resolver retos locales aunando innovación, apoyo político y participación ciudadana, y aplicando estrategias integradas.

I am a Freelance Translator who specializes in translating documents from English, German, Basque and Hungarian into Spanish (Spain), my native language.
I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Translation and Interpretation (Spanish, English, German) from the University of the Basque Country, Spain in 2006 and my Master’s Degree in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language from the University of La Rioja, Spain in 2013. I have more than 10 years' experience as a translator, and during that time I was also a teacher of the Basque and Spanish Languages at the University of Szeged, and Eötvös Lorand University of Budapest, Hungary. In addition to my formal education, I have gained proficiency in my foreign languages whilst residing in Hungary for seven years, Germany for three years, and in the UK for one year. In each language I achieved language proficiency titles at the level of C1 or C2. I now translate exclusively, residing in Vitoria, Spain.
I specialise in translating documents pertaining to Education, Linguistics, Environment, Ecology, Sustainability and Human Rights. Moreover, as a University Lecturer I gained valuable experience as a proofreader of academic and pedagogic publications. I also have experience as a translator, interpreter and proofreader with several non-government organisations.
