...bör det vara. Består i grunden av en betongplatta, eventuellt försedd med väggar, där man lägger/förvarar ensilage. Medger rationell hantering eftersom man helt enkelt kör in i den med traktor och vagn och tippar av ensilaget. Tidigare fanns även tornsilos, som kunde var inbyggda i lagårdarna. Inte lika rationellt. Har själv varit med om att lägga/hämta ensilage i båda typerna.
