Bio
I'm a native Swedish Translator based in the US with over 25 years of experience working as a freelance Translator, Subtitle Translator and Proofreader. I also do voice overs and have my own studio. In the past I have been teaching conversational Swedish at a language school in Los Angeles and gave private lessons and also worked as a Swedish language coach for actors on the set. I have translated lyrics to movie songs such as Curios George, RIO, HOP, etc and a book about the Swedish pop group ABBA, where my musical background came in handy.
As an Interpreter I have interpreted for medical emergencies, insurance and credit card companies and other organizations. Past translations include; IT, manuals, legal documents, web site content, travel, training videos, software, surveys, psychology, case studies, consumer products, film and TV and more. I have a BA in music, an AA in Economy, a Certificate in Psychology and a Certificate in Entertainment law.
