Creating a new Y document
To create a new document you can use the New Y Document icon on the desktop or the command on the Start menu.
Follow these steps to create a new Y document
Double-click the New Y Document icon on your desktop.
Click the tab you want to show in the window that appears.
Double-click the template you want to use for your new document.
You can also create a new document from within the program you are working with.
Note: The Y documents are by default displayed as large icons in the New Y Document dialog box. To view the full document names, click the List button.
Opening an existing Y document
You can access all your Y documents by opening Favorites from the desktop or choosing Favorites from the Start menu. You can also open a document from within the program with which it was created.
Follow these steps to open an existing Y document
Double-click the Favorites icon on the desktop or choose Favorites from the Start menu. The Favorites window appears.
Common Folders contain shortcuts to disks, folders, or documents common to your department or company.
Internet Bookmarks contain the bookmarks you save while working with .
Personal Folders contain shortcuts to your personal disks, folders, or documents. Here you can add shortcuts to suit your own needs. You find shortcuts to your old documents in Personal Folders.
