I'd like to sort the files in the Files View by date, and can't find such a simple option (date) among the sorting/columns options.
Can anybody help?

Hi, there is a progress bar showing the translation state in percent of the different files in a project, a sorting by date says nothing. For whole projects you can define a deadline date for delivery and this is shown in the project tab where you can also filter the project view by some *useful* criteria. If you want an accurate identification of a project and files, then make useful entries as Attributes in the TM and give a meaningful project name to find them later if you have hundreds of them...Btw, attributes in a TM will contain automatically the Creation and Modification Date that you can easily filter in the Translation Memory tab by opening a specific TM.
